ISW Program held on 29July -2 August

In graduate school of Dentistry, we hold a short-term program called “International Student Week (ISW)” to accept dental students from abroad. This time, total six of students from National Taiwan University in Taiwan and Newcastle University in the United Kingdom participated in this program from July 29th to August 2nd.

ISW program provides participants with the opportunity to experience the forefront of dental healthcare. This time, the participants attended mini-lectures offered by our graduate school, observed outpatient care and facilities at the dental hospital, and also had a demonstration experience with the latest medical equipment such as the AI Chair Unit.

Completing the program, the students who participated in this program commented that they were impressed by the possibilities brought by the application of advanced technology in dental healthcare.

The next ISW is scheduled to be held in December, welcoming students from Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia) and University of Malaya (Malaysia).
