The 3rd Japan-Korea-Thailand-Australia Joint Symposium, “2024 International Conference for Future Dentistry” was Held on October 21-22, 2024
The 3rd Japan-Korea-Thailand-Australia Joint Symposium titled “2024 International Conference for Future Dentistry” was held on October 21-22, 2024, at Osaka University. From Seoul National University (Korea), Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), The University of Sydney (Australia), and Osaka University (Japan) participated.
The first day consisted of a clinic tour, a study abroad fair, and a dean’s meeting. During the study abroad fair, each university presented their study abroad programs, and three international students from our department shared presentations about their experiences and research at Osaka University.
On the second day, eight researchers from each university delivered oral presentations, accompanied by poster presentations by young researchers. These presentations led to lively discussions and deepened mutual understanding of the research topics. Throughout the symposium, there was a fruitful exchange of ideas. Each university fostered and deepened relationships between them.
In addition, the 4th Japan-Korea-Thailand-Australia Joint Symposium will be held at the University of Sydney in April 2025. We will continue to pursue new perspectives in dental research and facilitate the exchange of international researchers.
