Visit to the College of Dentistry, Kyung Hee University

On Monday, February 2, 2026, Professor Kazuhiko NAKANO, Dean of the Graduate School of Dentistry, Professor Masahide TAKEDACHI, Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Dentistry, and Professor Satoshi IMAZATO visited the College of Dentistry at Kyung Hee University in South Korea, which is a partner institution of our faculty.
In 2020, the two institutions initially planned to hold an official signing ceremony for the Academic Exchange Agreement. However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was canceled. Nevertheless, the agreement itself was successfully concluded, and the relationship between the two institutions has been maintained. With Professor IMAZATO, who served as Dean at the time the agreement’s establishment, accompanying the delegation, this long-awaited visit was realized.
During the visit, the delegation engaged in discussions with Professor Yong-Dae Kwon, Dean of the College of Dentistry at Kyung Hee University, and other faculty members. These discussions aimed to strengthen the collaboration between the two universities, fostering active exchanges of ideas. The talks focused on expanding research collaborations and promoting student exchange programs, resulting in positive and forward-looking discussions. The visit proved to be a significant opportunity to deepen the academic ties between the institutions.
