Visit by IAPD President Soni STEPHEN

On March 27, 2026, Dr. Soni STEPHEN, President of the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD), paid a courtesy visit to Professor Kazuhiko NAKANO, Dean of the Graduate School of Dentistry. President STEPHEN is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney and served as Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Sydney Dental Hospital from 2000 to 2015.

We have fostered ongoing exchange with the University of Sydney through the annual Japan-Korea-Thailand-Australia Symposium, and plan to implement student exchange activities this academic year as well. During the meeting, both sides engaged in active discussions on promoting academic collaboration and enhancing student exchange, making it a valuable opportunity to further strengthen ties between the two universities.
