Courtesy Visit from Ghent University Rector and Delegation
On 19th June, Rector Rik Van de Walle of Ghent University in Belgium, and four other delegates visited Dean Kazuhiko Nakano of the Graduate School of Dentistry at the University of Osaka.
Hospital Director Takashi Yamashiro and Associate Deans Takafumi Kato, Shinsuke Ohba, and Masahide Takedachi also attended the meeting, during which they had a productive discussion regarding potential future student exchanges and research collaborations.
Afterwards, Prof. Veronique Christianens, Prof. Valentin Vervack, and Dr Sachiko Maemoto toured the Pediatric Dentistry, the Prosthodontics and Implantology, the Center for Translation Dental Research, Periodontics and Endodontics, and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the University of Osaka Dental Hospital.
