Signing Ceremony for the Academic Exchange Agreement with the School of Dentistry at Pusan National University

On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, the signing ceremony for the Academic Exchange Agreement was held at Pusan National University in South Korea. Representing our university, Professor Kazuhiko NAKANO, Dean of the Graduate School of Dentistry, Professor Masahide TAKEDACHI, Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Dentistry, and Professor Satoshi IMAZATO attended the ceremony.

Since the initial signing of the Academic Exchange Agreement in 2020, our universities have maintained ongoing and collaborative relations. At that time, a commemorative visit to the School of Dentistry at Pusan National University was planned. However, due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the visit had to be canceled. Subsequently, in February 2026, the agreement was renewed, providing an opportunity for Professor IMAZATO, who served as the Dean of the Graduate School of Dentistry at the time, to accompany the delegation and realize this long-awaited visit.

During this visit, the delegation engaged in discussions with Dean Seong-Sik KIM of the School of Dentistry at Pusan National University, Director Hyeon-Cheol KIM of the Pusan National University Dental Hospital, and other faculty members. The discussions focused on promoting academic exchanges between the two universities and actively exchanging ideas regarding student exchange programs. This visit served as a significant opportunity to strengthen ties and foster future collaboration between the two institutions.
