International station for Intractable Oral Diseases

Several oral diseases remain difficult to treat with modern dentistry and medical techniques. In particular, treatments for these “intractable oral diseases” have not been established, while medical institutions and special professionals are very rare in the fields. Additionally, institutions engaged in “intractable oral diseases” are very few in the world. Thus, it is very important to have institutions and perform the research for “intractable oral diseases”.
We started the projects to challenge “intractable oral diseases”, and have been investigating the pathogenesis of “intractable oral diseases” and attempting to establish effective therapy for “intractable oral diseases”. Based on our results and findings in the projects for 6 years, we set up this international station for “intractable oral diseases” in April of 2017. In the station, we aim to establish regenerative therapy, oral medical therapy and personalized medicine for “intractable oral diseases”, and subsequently to contribute to realization of a “society of health and longevity”.
